# DL Oral Surgery

> DL Oral Surgery is the team of oral surgeons Juan Lara Chao and José Luis Domínguez-Mompell (Madrid, Spain), specialists in bone reconstruction and the Khoury technique. The site presents their clinical cases, their hands-on training in reconstructive surgery and implantology for dentists, and online appointments for patients and professionals.

Over 17 years performing surgery, over 14 years teaching, 154 courses and lectures given and more than 1,600 dentists trained (at 120 a year). All team members hold a degree in Dentistry, have completed a 3-year Master's in Oral Surgery and Implantology and work full-time in this specialty; they have published in high-impact international journals.

Philosophy: maintain what exists and re-establish what is lost in the defect, following fast revascularization concepts and Fouad Khoury principles. Three principles: tunnel approaches to reduce graft exposure, autogenous bone grafts, and keratinized attached soft tissue around implants.

Training: Course in Reconstructive Surgery in Human Cadaver, a four-day intensive course with a full day of hands-on work in human cadaver and a live surgery demonstration, in Aranjuez (Madrid, Spain), taught in English; Bone Reconstruction Course – USA with human cadaver training; and a digital bone block planning service. Courses are booked through DL Oral Surgery Academy (academy.dloralsurgery.com). Published dates: Course in Reconstructive Surgery with Human Cadaver, November 25–28, 2026, Aranjuez; Bone Reconstruction Course with Human Cadaver Training, January 7–9, 2027, Honolulu, Hawaii; Master's in Oral Surgery and Digital Implantology from January 14, 2027, Aranjuez.
