Continuing with this case, with which we saw a reconstruction in a horizontal defect on the anterior mandible of a 53-year-old patient.
We also fitted implants to the canines and left the fitting of the rest of the implants for a later date due to insufficient osseous availability.
After 4 months, we opened again and the placement of implants was carried out. We also obtained samples for biopsy to see the number of live osteocytes in the graft.
As you can see, the bone appearance is excellent, which allowed us to place the implants as if we were dealing with native bone. The photos are below.
